A VIP family based in Cairo are seeking a warm, experienced, and professional British native female Primary School Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to privately educate their two children aged 6 and 8 and ensure they are exceeding. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated educator to deliver high quality, personalised education within a private household, while enjoying international travel and a fully supported live in role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, UK curriculum–based lessons tailored to each child’s individual learning style and academic level. Equal emphasis will be placed on academic progress and personal development, ensuring the children remain confident, curious, and motivated learners.
Learning will extend beyond the classroom, as the children attend a British School and the teacher/Governess will be expected to organise outings, activities, and creative learning experiences that enrich the curriculum and encourage real world understanding. The role also involves supporting extracurricular activities, so flexibility and adaptability outside of a traditional learning environment are essential.
Clear communication with parents is a priority, and the teacher will provide regular feedback and progress updates to ensure alignment with the family’s educational goals. The family are looking for a calm, organised, and engaging professional who can build strong relationships with the children while maintaining clear structure and high educational standards.
This role is ideally suited to a qualified female primary school teacher (KS1/KS2) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, who is seeking a distinctive and rewarding international position.
